Hi, I worked as a Media Monitoring analyst. My job duties were to listen to radio stations and scan newspapers and pick out advertisements played for statistical profits. We also had to verify the accuracy of the advertisements so that no advertisements were missed out to lose profits. We had to prepare reports if the radio station is not broadcasting properly so that we don't miss out any financial losses. At the end of the day, these reports used to go to the client for market research or for calculation of statistical data. But I couldn't find a special NOC code of this job title. This job is more in demand in the US rather than Canada. Someone suggested me to take NOC code 1254 (Statistical officers and related research support occupations) as more than 50% of the job duties need to match. I was advised that Job duties is more important than the job title. Should I proceed with NOC code 1254?
