Anyone here ever got a "ghost email" from donotreply@cic.gc.ca? This email tells u that there''s an update in your account but when u check your account there's no update. Apparently this means u r close to ppr. I got on Saturday April 21, 2018 at 12:30 pm so I guess I'll find out if this is true Monday.
Still waiting for PPR. Medical passed but the one thing i don't understand is that we still need to submit a form called IME. Can someone provide me with a little bit more information in regards to this documents? My understanding is that for any spouse who is applying for a permanent res will need to submit this form. Is this form relates to Express entry? My spouse already did and completed her medical and based on the GCkey. medical passed. is this another medical form? please help
I am May applicant still waiting, last week Bucharest visa office asked for updated police certificates, additional family from schedule A form and birth certificate for my daughter who was born and added to the application last November. I don’t know how long it is going to take . I already submitted all documents this week
They received my application May 31st 2017 and are processing my background check. still nothing. I see above that a couple of people are in the same situation. My VO is Beirut

I am a Canadian/Romanian citizen and I plan to sponsor my wife to Canada.
We got married in September 2016 and tried a visitor visa in October which was refused. We moved to UK and a few months later we heard news that visa will no longer be required for Romanians starting December 2017.
In December 2017 I applied for an ETA for her which was denied. She has not done anything wrong, so I assumed that they want me to sponsor her and will not allow her to Canada as a tourist. In February this year we moved back to Romania and this month (June) I plan to submit the paperwork for her sponsorship.
Any advice, please?

May applicant here. got the pre arrival letter but still waiting for the PPR. from what've ive seen here. some people are already getting their pre arrival letter but no PPR. Hope all the may application will get some good news soon.[/QUOT

yeah most of may 2016 are already completed and processed. medical already passed and no updates yet via gckey.
