CIC weekly website has been updated ,Working on applications recieved on 11 May, finally the ball is rolling.

We had no luck today with the call center. Every time we tried to call, there were too many callers and we were unable to be put through to someone. We are May 12th applicants. I am hoping that we get an email or ecas status change tomorrow or Saturday. Any May 12th or later applicants receive SA?

Hi there, a while ago I posted here as a May 8th applicant, but our app got returned to me because CIC said they couldn't find the proof of payment I provided. Since then I resent our application, including a note confirming that we did in fact provide the proof of payment originally and for that reason I requested CIC put our app back in que so my wife and I wouldn't loose a month of processing.

Then, CIC gave me an email confirming they received our app on June 4th and I checked the status using our UCI which tells me they starting processing it on June 19th. I wanted to ask if that means the 57 day wait starts on June 4th, not May 8th. I'm assuming they consider us June 4th applicants now, which means they didn't put it back in que. But I'm not sure.

I tried the call center yesterday for an update, but they refused to look into my file as the website had not updated at that point. We will be trying to call again tomorrow. Still no email indicating SA, still no updates on ECAS.

I think you should try to call and refer this question to the call-center agent. It was obviously their mistake and you don't have to lose one month because of that.

You can call them tomorrow since they are already processing may 11 application. I called them this afternoon and got SA. Mine is May 8.

You guys shouldn't call CIC too many times and clog up the system.
Have a lil patience. Usually after the 57 day mark you get SA after 1-2 weeks either thru email or regular post.

Logged in this morning to find "Decision Made" for the Sponsor assessment, with the message "We sent you correspondence on July 7, 2015 about the decision on your application."

But... still no correspondence received. Is this a good sign?

So, I called CIC again today , just hoping to get someone to let me know what happened to my AOR.

Turns out.. because they do not have my email.. though I thought I provided it to them but I guess I did not , I have AOR
and they began processing my Application for Sponsorship on June 30th..

It appears that for Outland applications , that did not provide an email... they do not send snail mail of AOR

My anxiety level just went down about 50 percent.

He also provided me with my CID number and application number to see online what is happening.
And it worked ! ;D

Does in process mean that someone has actually checked all the paperwork for completeness and are now determining SA or are they still reviewing it for accuracy and completeness?

I think "In Process" starts with checking it is complete, including that the proof of payment Receipt is there. My worry level reduces es each of the early days in process passes because they seem to have not found anything missing. Then they go on to each form in detail to check that the sponsor qualifies. So all of it is in process until they make a decision yes or no for SA. I am about halfway through the usual SA waiting period and it still shows in process.

We started processing your application on June 30, 2015.

I am just so happy to see/ hear something other then endless worrying about what they did with my application .
Im hoping to hear something in the next 3 weeks about my SA

ok. check the site.. have the DM on it!!!! and a correspondence was sent on July 7... perhaps still in the mail...
this means what? DM for SA? of for the whole process? there are three options.
DM about the SA
paperwork was sent to Ottawa
DM for the residency...

any experiences of what this means?

in the spreadsheet, there is a part where you update the DM, is not that when is a final DM? what is stage 2?
