Hello May applicants,

My info is the following:
0. Date filed : 16 May 2014
1. AOR received on 4th of July 2014
2. Ecas: We received your application on May 21, 2014. (only one line)
3. NOC: 2175

I have not received medical request yet, this is a bit scary.

I am still waiting for my GCMI, as I request it on the beginning of March.
Just wondering what is the reason that nobody contacted me yet regarding my file....

Is there anyone who still waiting for MR?

12 month for 80% of applications. The other 20% can be under OR over the 12 months.

However with that said I am more than happy to call them for an update. I have GCMS notes coming on around the 21st of this month.

Hi Friends,

I heard from someone that the 12 months processing time is starts from the date AOR received.

I wasn't believing that before but now I am. Based on many peoples GCMS notes(including mine) they put due date almost a year after AOR issue date. I'm on same boat.

and 20 June AOR

I called CIC on Friday, i wanted to know if they even touch my file for second review, as the deadline was 31 march. They told no progress.
I know that my criminality is in progress and security have not started.
I had upfront medical, but if the process delay they might request additional one.

Dear friends
I already called them many times and they told me that they do not have anything to do with my application as it is in VO now; Ottawa I mean.
They told me also that the process it might take more than 12 months. All depends on the officer who is reviewing your case.
They told me also that the processing time starts from the moment your application is complete and they send you the AOR.
I received AOR on June 17th and MR December 18 and done Dec 30th 2014 lus paying the PR fees and received by CIC January 13th 2015 and they started processing my application on Dec. 29th.
