Hi Chandu, Coolblues under the Xenon ID. The oath ceremony went fine without any issues. Similar to how others stated the ceremony to be in the forum - great feeling to take the oath and sing the Canadian national anthem! I'll be applying for my Canadian passport today - yeh !

i called up CIC and was told i can expect test date from now to may 2015. seems i am gonna get in 2015. surprising thing is that my file is sitting in local office since dec 2013 after clearing all checks.

Relax, CIC told me I should expect test Dec 2015. Can u imagine? I called on the July 14 the agent said it is too early to check for an update.

There are some lazy agents in the CIC call center, who always give very generic answer to your question without even looking further in the system. I am a victim of some of these agents. Regretfully, we can't do anything.

Hopefully, you will get your test date in a month or two. Good luck.

Yes, I am in touch with them, but regretfully I am not expecting an update soon. Since I resubmitted my RQ papers to the Scarborough office, call center agents are telling me the maximum (36 months) time limit. Moreover, they sent my application to the St. Clair office, which I had no idea, why. CIC people made a mistake and I am paying for their mistake. Loosing respect on this office and their employees day by day.

Let us know how your oath ceremony goes.
