I did medicals on 24th Oct and called the clinic, they said it is submitted on 4th Nov. they took 2 weeks to process it.

Guys,
I need some input. I had sent my passport for Temporary Residence Visa extension to CPP Ottawa. I had also completed medicals and medicals is recieved by them. Its been more than 2 weeks my passport is still not dispatched. How long usually it takes for the CPP ottawa to return the passport? I live in Ottawa so they had received it just a day after I sent it.

Online status shows 4th line added.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

My passport is already with the Visa office CPP ottawa for TRV stamping. Not sure if they will keep it or send it back for me to resend it back to them.

I believe the TRV Team and PR Teams are different. may be you can wait for communication from them

You will have 60 days to send passports to CPP-O.

My doc was fast as a wind, cause I got a passport request in 5 business days after I passed the commission.

"Decision Made" but no email yet from CIC. Asked lawyer to check with CIC. Is this normal?

Submitted passports to CPP ottawa. Hopefully will receive in 2 weeks.

BTW, after we get CoPR. I heard we cannot travel for 2 months. Is this true? I would expect to go to border immediately after recieving passports. Any suggestions.

Yes ..........Reason....you get only one time entry Visa on your Passport. You will use it while doing entry at the border.

after that you should not travel outside country till your PR card arrives. PR card usually arrive in 8 weeks.

If it is urgent, you can contact the consulate.

For getting the landing completed you should go to border as soon as possible after getting your COPR..

For travelling in between landed status and PR card arrival

"you can still travel, you just need a travel document"
