I guess it depends on the visa office. mine is Buffalo and still shows that they received application on may2nd. and till now I have not received the AOR from them. when i contacted them they said it takes min 30 weeks to send the acknowledgement.

Last night i have dropped them an email to update on the case status and waiting for their reply on that.

I am also going to shoot a mail today after verifying my status.
I came to know that every Wednesday they are going to update the status of applications.

I do not what do you mean by 2nd ? after getting my CSQ I sent my application to federal, they got the application on 2nd May 2010. and nothing from their side so far. that is how Buffalo works.

What i have learnt after going through various posts on the subject and replies by senior members that - it mostly depends on the visa office you fall under, like if London is your VO, you are likely to get it by snail mail, so keep a watch on your post man, hope it helps, cheers and best of luck.

IMHO , MR comes by snail mail but ppr comes by Email...from LVO

Hey guys i jave received a mail frm chc that to submit the proof that the degree awarded university in uk are recognises by uk universities. But the college where i did my degree is closed due to immigration rule change in uk. What do i need todo now? Please suggest.
