Went to our consultant awhile ago and he doesn't really know what went wrong. since my work is not in the existing NOC list we will apply again but my husband will be the primary applicant now. he is also qualified for the fsw program.

although we both qualify in the beginning, we decided that I will be the primary applicant since my points are much higher than his. but now that my application was denied, it's his turn. I don't know the real reason why my paper was denied but I know there is a reason. perhaps its just not our time yet...
All you need do now is to quickly gather your documents and send it in, and be sure to make it error free cos CIO is much more strick with the Post june 26 applicants, presently i hear that they have received over 20,000 cap. It now boils down to screening out those whose applications are not too concreate. Hurry up!. Do not rely totally on the consultant, that is if you are using one, also do a personalized and you would be on your way to getting your PR

I received today a notification telling me that my application has been denied. Within all the text, here is the reason:

"You have indicated that you have work experience in an occupation with the following NOC code: 0213- Systems Manager. Although this NOC code corresponds to the occupations specified in the instructions identified by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on 28 November 2008, the main duties that you have listed do not indicate that you performed a substantial number of the main duties of the occupation as set out in the occupational description of the NOC, including all of the essential duties. As such, I am not satisfied that your experience corresponds to NOC 0213- Computer and Information Systems Manager."

The money will be refunded to my CC within 8-12 weeks.

So, this is it. Thank you all for the support and the best of luck to you all.

What duties did you fill in the form ? Could you please share them.

P.S It's sad hear that. :( Try UK's Tier1, Find Job in Canada or learn French.

Really sorry to hear, this is the second denial in two days. Getting a little edgy now, thought CC/DD charge means done deal, guess not.

Did you elaborate JD in a separate sheet or used the space in the form?

Wayne, you could be right. Maybe this UCI has something to do with the new rules set on June 26, maybe they change the internal procedures, not only the NOC list.

Regarding the E-CAS application, I see the same info using both file numbers: the file number number received in the Sydney's AOR and the file number received in the AOR received from Visa Office.
I think, that should be : Unique Client Identifier which is used under GCMS system. That means CIC is trying to use new management system for our application.

BTW, a question for all who revd aor: is there the "UCI" number in your mail ?
