and i was expecting it in 90 days
my PCC is also going to expire
90 days validity is written on my PCC which was taken from Islamabad
now only 45 days left in validity of my PCC of Islamabad and 43 days left for my PCC of Lahore.
seems that i have to do this hassle once again
and getting PCC from lahore is bit difficult task as i have to go there and bla bla

of application to CIO it remains valid

CIO can send back papers at any time
and every one is on stake till gets his / her AOR
deduction of money is considered to be on safe side
but any thing can happen before you get your AOR

Why u need new PCC from Lahore?

I also have from lahore and there is nothing mentioned on it about validity. And as we got our Lahore PCC within 3 months period of initial application to CIO...So, u dont need to change Lahore PCC.

However, as you mentioned date of expiry is mentioned on Islamabad PCC, then that u might have to change in case if it passes 90 days from date of issue...but still u have have lot of time in that..

Unfortunately, not "ppl in different forums" are processing the file. The guys from CIC are. And they are saying that PCC must be less than 3 months old. Mine expired also and I've got another one yesterday.

May be you should try to send an email to Sydney or call directly to them.
I don't believe in 26 weeks delay.. may be it was 6 weeks, it sounds more realistically.
I think in September all May applicants should receive their AOR.

PCC is valid for six months for sure You can reconfirm from your local police station if you like you will get the same answer

Guys please dont create panic for other people. In CIO Guide EG7 (for pre 26 applications) its very clearly mentioned that your PCC are valid if you got them within 03 months before sending initial application to CIO they are absolutely fine and also if got PCC after sending the application then of course no issues...

The only issue will be for those PCC's where the issuing authority mentions the expiry date and only those you have to get new. For example DUbai PCC specifically mentions the date of expiry so that will be required to get new if it expires. But mostly other counrty PCC doesnt mention expiry date.

I have just called to CIC call center.
They told me that I need to wait for 2 weeks, they are still processing May 3rd.
If I didn't receive a response from CIC, I should call them again. (My application was received on May 26)

So, lets keep positive and wait a little bit
