Hi ,
I am from europe and visa exempt and I know I can stay for 6 months at a time before asking for renewal but is it possible to ask for longer than that ,exemple asking for 8 months or 12 months.
1.Will it be easily rejected?
2. another question ,how easy is it to ask for 6 months and get 6 months when you first arrive at the port of entry?

The extension would depend on:
1. If you have applied for extension(s) in the past on your current entry

2. The reason why you would like to extend your stay

You are are not guaranteed to get 6 months at entry. It is up to the officer you speak to. If they don't put a date on the stamp then it is 6 months, otherwise you need to leave by the date written with the stamp.
