That doctor's office clearly doesn't know the process. It's not pointless, it drags the application process for a lot of people.

Yeah that's true. Only if the doctor's office was better informed, it would save people from a lot of hassles.
BTW is there any document which I can show these panel doctors to prove that Medical can be done even before a person receives ITA?
