I know a guy whose dad married a girl 50 years younger. He was younger than his dad's wife. He had a falling out with his dad after they argued over her a few times and his dad cut him off. 9 years later the guy's dad died and she cashed-in. She then later laughed at him but admitted she didn't think she'd have to wait that long before he "croaked".

Well in her "defense" the dad already had a slew of health problems when they met and everyone was surprised that he hung in for another 9 years. The dad proudly said that it was the love from his new young wife. Whatever. My buddy had come to terms and let his dad be. It was when the girl then had to get the last word and rub it in. I mean who really feels the need to laugh at their step-son in that kind of situation?

Anyway this is nothing new. Remember a 26 yr old Anna Nicole Smith marrying that 89 yr old billionaire?

Could be. I don't know much details and I know I am definitely getting a biased point of view.

Usually When I used to login with my UCI number I was always able to see my spouse's information coz i sponsered him to canada.
But he left him after 3 weeks for his gf and I complained to CIC and they were investigating him. Last night I logged in with my UCI number and he is no more attached to my UCI number. And then I checked with his UCI number and tried to login and it said no information found.
Does that mean they have made a decision and sending him back.

I didn't log in with her info so I can't comment about that. It could just be that they remove old records off eCAS after a certain period of time since the case is closed. But i really don't know.

Its been 6 months that he is landed. I dunno this is so complicated

Does our UCI number always stay active on eCAS ..
I mean it has been 2 years that I have landed in canada and became a PR and my UCI no is still active.

Your UCI number never expires. How that ties into eCAS I don't know.

Generally, ecas is only 'active' for applications still in process. Once a file is closed, ecas becomes inactive at some point. That is, you see that standard message that says 'no information found'. My guess is, yours will become inactive at some point too.

If he has not been in touch again since the last time he tried to reconcile with you, it's possible he is laying low somewhere in Canada or has been deported. Have you tried calling the welfare office to see if he has made a claim? You can just say that he left you shortly after, and since you signed an undertaking, you would just like to know if there has been a claim and if you owe the gov't. You may be able to find out some more information.

The new rule is pretty new so I don't think is a lot of precedent over these cases. I have a feeling that the first few cases of this will take awhile as CIC tries to figure out how to process such cases...

Hi,

I had an interview for Marriage Fraud with CIC officer. In the interview I was told that I had a strong case. The officer also told me that she had confirmed about one of the Mis-representation done by my runaway wife. As I also told that my wife would be called upon for an interview. but within 5 days after my interview I received a letter from CIC that they would not report the case to Deputy Minister. The case is closed now. In this circumstances is there anything I could do to revive the case again.

Any help or advice much appreciated.

Because of idiots like you, CIC introduced condition 51 on honest couples. You have personally made the lives of thousands of honest hardowrking Canadians and their spouses more dificult and restricted their freedom, thru nothing but your own stupididy. You say you believe in karma, (i dont) but if there is karma, you will be getting a boat load of bad coming your way because that is what you deserve.

The difference is, that marriage is totally legally abd binding even if the woman says directly she married the man only for his money. The difference is, that couple didnt have to open their entire lives up to scrunity by the government. All they had to do was get a marriage certificate and that marriage was considered 100% as real and genuine as any other marriage in history.

Theres a double standard when it comes to marriage.
Its only "dirty immigrants" from foreign countries who need to be put thru the wringer.
