Hello Vicky,

i am bharath, i need ur suggestion on doing PG diploma in Project Management in Centennial College. I have graduated in 2011 and have 3yrs of working experience as a TSM Admin from IBM. Hi! Im an april applicant for PR. Since its still not in process, do I need to renew my work permit since it gonna expire on april 30, 2015. Im thinking that it might take awhile for the result to come and just to make sure that I have renewed it on time. ?.PLEASE HELP...thanks

Hi, Tina

I would suggest you to wait till December at least to see how the PR process goes.
For right now I think it's taking about 7months + couple weeks to complete PR process (from the day you applied + if your application has no problems in terms of document preparation + background/security/medical check etc.).

I can't say this is 100% right since PNP Process has got been delayed almost for a year since there are too many applicants.

Anyhow you can't apply for another permit if you currently have more than 6months+ duration on your workpermit.
so just wait up and see how the process timline goes and apply near This December/Next January.

Still no request for rprf..I don't know why is it taking so long...came to know from friends that CIC has slower down the process for the time being... My application was received on 16 April 2014..I know there r three to four April applicant in this forum waiting for rprf

Someone from Feb 28th got IP on Monday, so March applicants could expect IP soon.

I'm April 14th - would be very surprised if I get IP before November...

I think we'll see April applicants will be seeing IP from mid-October

I have been tacking of these IPs and I see it roughly takes 6months+1week to get IP (from the day you applied).
so if everything is ok on your file and your application is clear and simple enough for the to process,
I think it will be on schedule!!
