I want to be optimistic and say we will hear soon from CIC, God Willingly.
No, I didn't send a complete new application, just inserted proof of language with cover letter.

Wish you and all of us the best of luck,
Thanks for the reply.
It’s such a relief to hear that I’m not the only one who resubmitted the same application package. Some members in this forum say we should have sent a new application.
Anyways, let’s hope for the best.

To people who haven't received AORs yet, let's say our application gets returned due to a tiny mistake or a typo; do we simply just fix the mistake and send it back or do we have to restart the entire process again with a fresh application? I mean all these 7 months would be a waste if we have to do it all over again.

January 14, 2017. Praise God!
Has anyone's application gone into `in process` from March cohort?
I've only heard of one but that's likely because they submitted it as urgent.

unless you future dated your signature in the application, just fix the mistake. No need to create a new application. That is my view at least.

My application was delivered on March 4th, and I'm one of the unlucky ones still without an AOR.

Do any members have any thoughts or reasoning behind the random delays in AOR?

As per the trend, some applicants receive their AOR in an orderly fashion and some have to wait a few more months. I'm wondering what might be happening during this time and any clue what may have led the application to go out of the main queue?
I guess I have nothing to complain about then,
March 16th here

The comments on these articles are so selfish and sad. Literally people seeking citizenship is not living off welfare or not working! The level of ignorance just sad.
We all are immigrants. It is never easy for immigrants. The best for us is to ignore the haters and continue working towards progress.
