Have you heard anything from VO in Morocco until now? Our application is end of Feb 2017, have a statement on CIC account that they need additional documents...tried so many times to reach VO, all in vain.

There should be a link telling you what document they need from you. Did you see it?

Did you order GCMS notes recently? There is a glitch in the system that happens when the notes are generated, as for some reason it triggers the "we need additional documents to continue processing your application" message. My advice is to email your VO directly, it might take them 3-4 weeks to get back to you, but they are best placed to let you know whether they need any other documents from you. Additionally, if this doesn't work, you can always reach out to your MP and ask them to reach out to the visa office and find out what the status of the application is and whether more documents are required. This is what I did when I was faced with the same problem and it helped a lot.

I disagree with this. Mine has stated that for months and never updated. Notes have no affect on your application or with documentation being required.. seems that it is just a coincidence

Hi everyone, I'm a March application sponsoring my husband from Afghanistan (NDVO). His status has been in the background check phase for about 3.5 months now, and I haven't had an update in my account or an email from crc in about 5 months now. Anyone else in the same situation?

Thank you for your advise. The message appeared long before I ordered GCMS notes, I didn't even know that you can order the notes, this thread helped to figure it out. I contacted VO twice, through a web form and direct email. They didn't respond and the time which the automated message was saying they suppose to respond has already elapsed. In their automated message there is a clause that if you are within processing time (which we are) then they wont respond. And if it is a glitch in the system, they maybe ignoring it. I am just waiting for GCMS notes before I go to MP. Thanks again.

Yes I see the link and it is their request from April which we have already replied to, they requested to resubmit Schedule A, since then no more requests, but the message is still there.

mine has been like this since march.. honestly nothing to worry about.. your notes would indicate as well if something is missing...

Is there anyone else applying outland from the States who hasn't had any progress since May? I'm getting really worried. My account has said that my action is required for months, but there are no messages. I have called CIC multiple times, and they always tell me the same thing, that I don't need to do anything. If I don't need to do anything, then why has nothing happened in months? Is this just me?

Im with a different vo but my background check has been in progress since july 10... patience is key in this process
