Hi everybody. happy new year and wish you all the best in 2014.

from our end, today we received a letter asking for uae police clearances and schedule A form. It seems very strange. Our medical was expired on September 2013 and now they are asking for these documents.

please my friends could you please share your idea about the above.
do you think the background check is over or is going to start?

in the last gcms on November 2013 both security and criminality were not yet started but there were a lot of activities were going on in our file specially in correspondence section.

why they didn't send us remedical?

IMHO, they are about to finalize your case. Same thing happened with me, they asked for UAE PCC and Schedule A and after 2 months i got MR. one month after the medical they issued the visa.

So hopefully once you will send these documents, they will issue the re-medical and soon after visa. All the best

I wonder if security check would be in process if its taking so long to receive MR or it would be only after medical.. with few of our members on the forum who applied in 2011 with re medicals and request for PCC's again...situation seems bleak

With the blessing of Almight and the prayers of my parents, I have received PPR-1 letter through email on 8th of January 2014. Our medical reports were submitted by IOM on 31st of December 2013 as the medical was conducted on 19th of December 2013. It seems rather quick considering a year long security checks and the hassle of going through the medicals again. I am hoping it ends well.
I have sent the required documents to PHEP Processing (department which processes visas) and have been received today by Alfonso. Did not send the photos as they were not requested. I think they ask along with the passport in the next process.

Hoping and praying that all those who are waiting hear good news soon
