Lost job few weeks after applying for EE / PR application

Hi,

I have a friend who applied for her PR few weeks ago under EE and had 1 year job offer in hand at the time of applying but after 1 month submitting the application she had been let go from her duties and job. She was on LMIA work permit in Canada.

My Question is does it will effect her PR application will it get rejected?

I think when she applied for his PR she satisfied all the requirements of the application and got ITA based on the submitted facts which she supplied but now circumstances have changed which are beyond her control.

Should she mention this to CIC as a change of circumstance or does nothing? I think she is supposed to inform cic about a change of circumstance but then CIC might reject her application right?

Nope, it doesn’t affect. She doesn’t have to inform CIC as long as all her documents are in line. She can extend by visitor visa and wait for ppr
