Hi all just dropped in to say we have landed on nov27th and very excited to be home.Everything went smooth at the border had to fill out alot of forms,had 4 vehicles to clear,but very quick.We went to the border crossing in houlton maine.Hubby has his sin number and have health card , here in my provience starts as soon as he entered here .good luck to all

Hey! I apologize, it's been hectic! Hubby's passport got to the USA address on Saturday Dec 16th 2012. We're making arrangements to get it sent up here this week

Wow..congratulations...well just a quick question...hadnt you changed your hubby's address to the canadian address?
Coz now I am worried that they might send mine to the US address which is old.

Yes, but we included a return envelope with the US address on it, so we wanted it to go there

Hi Everyone!

I sent in my passp to the Los Angeles VO on 11/20/2012 and they received it on 11/21
My Ecas status changed to DM on 12/7 and I haven't received my passp yet.
I live in Los Angeles and I did include an envelope (express mail) with my address filled out just as requested by the consulate.

Anyone, around my timeline, still waiting for passp to be returned?
Is it normal to wait this long?

Any comment/advice will be greatly appreciated

* Sponsor approved: Aug 14th 2012
* Certificat De Selection (CSQ - Quebec) approved : Sept 18th 2012
* They received my FBI Clearance on: Nov 5th 2012
* Visa Office: Buffalo closed--> Los Angeles
* Passp Request: Nov 14th 2012
* Consulate received my passp on: Nov 21st 2012 (I sent in my passp a week after because they needed to make sure that I paid all the fees RPRF plus copies of receipt)
* Ecas status changed to Decision Made on: Dec 7th 2012
* Passp Received: still waiting

My wife just got a letter today on my behalf which is weird since I am the applicant and i included my email address. anyways they are requesting additional police clearances and I am so confused because I included them in the application. I guess they want my state clearances now too. I am so bummed because I dont know how long these will take a further delay the process. Im ready to pull all my hair out. ugggggggggggg. Anyways that is my status. Exactly the xmas I didnt want. Good luck to you and yours on the holidays.

Are they requesting the same police file you sent in the beginning with your application?
If it's the same one they are requesting then I don't think you should get another copy. Try to contact them and let them know you already had it included in the application, and ask them to look thoroughly.

When they requested for my passport they also included an email stating that I needed to pay the permanent resident fee and mail them the original receipt which my hubby did, both, long time ago. After I notified them about this, they did their work, found it and I proceeded to send my passp.

Boarder, may I know where did you send your application to?
