Dear Forum Members,

I do not have online application status access as it was removed by my Ex-Wife after divorce. I have updated LVO with recent documents with divorce certificate and other changes for re-evaluation on my case via email. Its been two weeks since i sent email to LVO, but there is no response yet from my VISA Officer.

Please guide what should i do ?

Do i need to send another email for asking about progress on my case or should wait for a bit for the reply from LVO. I also sent them the representative form along new updates for further communication of my case with our family friends staying in CANADA.

What's the cost of medical in UK. Pls share...

I recently did my medical in Birmingham and it was £312 per adult. I know in Plymouth and Cardiff it is around £350 per adult. Hope that helps.

I've just check ECAS and notice that it has updated and I have a fifth line "Medicals have been received".

When we went for our medicals (on 4th November) my husband had high blood pressure, due to worrying over the medicals! The doctor was not concerned and said he would say that in the report. My husband also had his blood pressure checked both before and after the medicals by his own doctor and it was find both times. I was under the impression by reading the CIC website that he would require further tests. But I was also under the impression from this forum that when you got the medicals received line update that you had passed the medicals. What do you think it means in my case please?

all, i have applied to sponsor my wife we bith live in L.A. she was studying in montreal before we got married. i am naturalized candaian so now i have sent her sponsorship application we sent our application in may. then we recieved a letter saying that my application as sponsor is approved and that my wif's file is sent to london visa office as she was born in pakistan. today i got an email from london visa office asking some forms

-Updated, signed Schedule A form for yourself.

- Updated, original Pakistan Police Certificate.

- Medical examination; please note that medical instruction forms will be emailed separately.

- Please have your sponsor fully complete a new Sponsor Questionnaire (IMM5540) form.and a police certf of my wife from canada.


we ave to submit them within 30 days otherwise our application will be rejected. plz tell me where to get canadian police certf. in US with finger prints.

Good news to share.

• 16/11/2015 (Late night) my representative informed me that PPR has reached.
• 17/11/2015 (Early morning) Passports submitted in Riyadh VFS
• 18/11/2015 Attended the CIIP Session for 7+ Hours (I know that this is not visa related, just to give you update). make sure to attend it cause it is helpful
• 19/11/2015 ECAS status changed to "Decision Made" with the same 5th line "Medical results have been received."

Experience:

• I went to the Canadian Embassy in Riyadh to submit the passports and the form in person, they refused and told me that only Canadian or Diplomatic passports are allowed to go inside the embassy, therefore, I had to go to VFS
• VFS opens 9:00 AM (For Canada services) not 8:30 AM as mentioned
• The document sent with PPR request to submit 2 photos per person each mentions the application number and person's name

Experience:

• VFS told me that this is not true, also one guy was there and told me the same. What is needed as per VFS is to have 3 photos per person: 1) mentions the application number and person's name, 2) Blank 3) Has the stamp and phone/mobile number of the photographer and the date was taken, so I had to rush back to the studio to finish it
• Also requested to put photos in a white Envelop that is stamped as well from the Studio

VFS charges are: SAR 139 for application processing and SAR 7 for SMS service (a must pay) result in total SAR 146 per passport

For writing in photos, make sure to use CD or DVD fast drying pen

My question is, does any one know how long does it take these days to get the passports back from Riyadh visa office?
