Can I travel with canadian pr to USA or I need to get US visa

It depends on your nationality,residents of some countries are allowed to enter with visa on arrival or without a visa.

Any one has Visa officer named "DRD"
any opinion about him, we received our PER in August 2014 and still no real progress, process started only in June 2015 and pcc request on the same day nothing else.

It will take X-Number of Days.
X-is an unknown variable in mathematics. Specially when your application is in LVO-Equation.
Mathematically we can say:-
Application in LVO=MR after X-Number of days of PER+ PPR after Y-Number Days of MR

Total No of Days(T) for issuance of visa in LVO:-
T = X + Y + Z
Here Z is the balance number of days after PPR for issuance of Visa.

Researchers are still working to find out the exact values of unknown variables X,Y and Z.
But uptill now there are only assumptions exisiting therefore no definite answer is available.

I just got the processing starts on ecase ..... i have already done upfront medicals , this means that i have only to wait for PPR now may submit some updated Schedule A

same thing happened to me, 12 days ago I got slu, then yesterday I got the mr.
the slu also states they have started the process ten months ago. do not worry brother.

Just one query. Where did you get your child's last annual medical check up report from? Did you child specialist give it to you or from some hospital. Could you please share its format? Thanks

Got done with medical yesterday in Islamabad. Was a smooth process all in all. Took about 3 hours (would have taken 1/2 hour lesser but my just-turned-5 daughter took half an hour of convincing to go for a urine test . Parents of youngsters - Beware!). Btw, the mail from IOM asked for kids' last annual medical check up, mine and spouse's valid polio vaccination certificates, two photographs of each family member, and vision card for anyone who wears glasses. However, none of these were asked for during the exam. Have sent RPRF receipt, PCC etc to CHC today. Hoping for a swift process from now on too Inshallah.

I also agree with navdeep36, after PCC he will take maximum 40 days to issue PPR letter. within a month you will receive MR and when you will done Medical, within 10 days he will issue PPR letter.

I am just hoping what you are saying comes true for me also. But just a bit worried as the 'DECISION MADE' status is showing only on the main home page and not after I click it. What I have learned from the forum is that 'DECISION MADE' is the fourth line status that should appear after my "medical rcvd" status, ie., the inside page of CIC website.

Don't worry SBI you will get PPR very soon, I got my PPR on August 12 and still there is no updation after SLU except main status has changed to Decision Made.

thanks Sirat our PCC has been received at the London office on 4th August so hopefully (crossed fingers) we should receive MR by 4th September.

Dear All,

Please I need urgent advise!

I was in the UK for my masters when I applied but I am done and returned to my country, Nigeria.

I am thinking of changing my visa office to Accra (AVO) for further processing of my application, coupled with the fact that LVO is snail processing and it might be difficult for them to do background and security check since they are not use to treating applications for Nigeria citizens.

Do I write to CIC or you advise I leave my application in LVO?

Please provide me the email address to contact CIC if necesssary.

Congrats, wish you all the best for rest process. Who is your VO ? Were you asked any additional documents in between PER and Medicals ? By the way, we share same NOC
