sharing for all friends here finally received reply from LVO. I had given credit card details for spouse addition.....they have acknowledged documents receipt but not the method

We cannot accept the fee payment form you have submitted as a payment method.

Please submit a processing fee of $550 in form of a bank draft made payable to “Receiver General for Canada”.

Need an advise from seniors, I got reply to my email from LVO by LBM that my file is waiting to be reviewed.
Does it mean he/she is the officer to process my application. Any experience how fast he/she is in processing applications?

Need an advice since I have 3 kids with me and all use to drink Nido

milk products in any form are prohibited.

however, formula milk for infants is allowed...quantity for up to one month only....excess will be seized and u can be penalized for that.

since nido is not a formula milk, its rather itself milk in dried and powdered form, I don't think so they will allow it to enter. that my guess based upon their restrictions.

I saw this video on youtube that one girl from Kuwait bought just 2 small packs of processed cream cheese by brand name of KIRI. its a French brand and its cheese are made in france. they are in small square shape cubes, 6 cubes per pack. so total she was carrying only 12 small cubes....packs were brand new and sealed closed......yet the cbsa office didn't allowed her to take even single cube.....as per their rule...it was product of milk...and hence cannot enter into Canada......it was seized and she was fined also.

please keep in mind......only cheese in its pure form is allowed. that KIRI was processed cream cheese.....these 3 words were written on its pack. now cheese still is product of milk.....but I don't know why pure cheese is allowed but anything else is not.

else u can specifically contact cbsa through email and they can give u exact reply about ur situation. I really don't know, I just based my answer on info available.

My wife applied for Canadian Immigration more than 4 years back at NASC, an immigration consultancy. We lost our hope and just want to get some of our money back. The only document we got from NASC is on the below link. What this means? Is our application applied or only an assessment. If this means application is not fully applied, we have a big chance to get a refund. We plan to approach Consumer Protection here in Dubai.

We got a reply from Central Intake Office that our application is not with them, it is at London Visa Office. The application number we got cannot be checked online.


Hi Echo,

The photos looks exactly the same with my PER email. However, yours is in a letter while mine, with the same wordings, is in an email. Moreover, mine has the CIC logo and name on the top right of the first page whilst yours does not. BUT your letter is back in 2010 which means there could have been changes in the format since then.

If CIC has replied to you that your file is in LVO, then it means your application has been processed. You should also have an access to the UCI number reflected in the PER to check your application status.

Is it possible that a June applicant is not yet assigned a VO at this time?

1.) I am an LVO June 7 applicant, received PER as at Oct. 15, 2014.
2.) Sent off CSE as of Nov. 17, 2014 and received a generic reply from Client service unit (CKB) that my file is either under review or awaiting review.
3.) Sent off a second CSE as of late Feb. 2014, received exact same generic reply from CKB.

Looking at the above, it seems my file is not even assigned to a VO yet since a VO has never replied.
I am wondering the cause of this delay, my documents are in both English and French. Could this be the cause? Is there any one in a similar situation?[/size][/size][/size][/size]

Its quite possible. I contacted LVO to get info on adding my daughter to the application. Got a reply from VCM, who later turned out to be the one processing my application.
