Hi

I received my PER on 30 September under category 1112. My visa office is London.

If you are in a similar position then can you please let me know if you have received any requests from LVO?

Please forgive me ignorance but I also do not know what does file transfer mean and how I can confirm this with the LVO.

Any word will be appreciated.

Keep checking your ECAS status it should update and second line will appear very soon with 'We started processing you application on --/--/----(date)' once this line is appears get ready for further requests from LVO
your file is transferred to Local Visa office in ur case London visa office once CIC issues PER and file joins the waiting queue for visa officer to review and request for things like MR, PCC and RPRF before he/she makes the final decision on file.

Most likely No.
You need to apply for fresh driving licence.

Bro to get first reply from CIC u need to wait for 100 to 120 days

In my case I got it after 110 days

Regarding reply to Ur mail , u will get there response after 40 to 45 days

If u have paid through Credit card u may get charge confirmation before any formal response from CIC

And lastly u can't do anything to chase them up or speed up the process other then waiting with faith and patience.

I have received medical and rprf fee request today. Also, they asked to provide information about my eye color and height. Nothing else than those at the moment. Also hope this will be the last request before passport.

uae driving license is valid in canada, i m sure about it.
for ur question 1, i dont know..

UAE driving license is valid for temporary use. You can rent a car with it. It will be considered as an International Driving License. Use of IDL or a foreign country license has conditions and limitations, you can use it as long as you are visitor or temporary resident. If you are a PR, you should get a local driving license.

I'd raised a CSE to LVO about the newborn son. They, surprisingly, replied the same day requiring the following documents;
> Processing fee for the child
> Birth Certificate
> Copy of Passport
> 4 photographs
> Updated IMM0008 for Principal Applicant & updated IMM5406 for Principal Applicant and the Spouse
>> All documents must be sent by mail

I've a few questions;
1. For the fee, will it be addressed to "the receiver general for Canada"? and,
2. Do I need to fill the IMM5620 the Fee Payment Form?
3. They've not asked for the updated proof of funds. Should I send it on my own as at the time of applying my funds were a few hundred less than required for an added family member?
4. Where to send the mail?

Please guide.

1. Yes (THE RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA ), you need to pay $150.00
2. Yes
3. Dont worry until they ask updated statement. But on your side be ready to show or have that amount of money in your account. You will need to show in Canadian Border. They didnt asked for statement in my case but certainly it might be different for each cases.
4. At the moment the address for London visa office is Immigration and Medical Services, Macdonald House, 1 Grosvenor Square, London, W1K 4AB, U.K please beaware from 16 December the address may be changed.
