Dear Seniors,
I have a question regarding Passport Renewal at this stage of my application.
I did my Medicals on 30-Oct-2014 but my Passport expires on 15-Jul-2015.
Is it advisable to renew my Passport now to get the max time limit on Visa or it will create complications at this stage?
Please advise

It depends on how long it will take you to get your passport , and whether the authorities will renew you passport in advance while it is still valid for another 9 months. If the authorities agree to provide you passport instead of the 9 months validity and they do so in not more than 2 weeks , then yes it is advisable to renew your passport.Doing this will add 3 more months in your visa.Make sure they dont make you wait more than 2 weeks for your new passport.

Hi,
I strongly suggest that you get your new passports and submit their copies for maximum time availability. Visa is issued for ONE Year and/or PP expiry, whichever is earlier.
Update Information Chart is actually asked to cover such issues as many people even get their passports expired before even the medical is requested.

Hi congrats to all who have received updates on application and this is to inform u all that I just received PPR 1 I have been asked to pay Residency Fee and updated information form and copies of passports aswell. It came after nearly three months of our medical.Now what I want to ask is should I send them soft copies or hard copies are also required? Secondly which is the best way to pay the fees?

The most appropriate and only recommendable mode is through Credit Card, its fast and safe. You may even get paid through anyone's CC but need to have auto generated receipt and send it to VO (email as well DHL).

Panel physician must be E-Medical enabled, some are still not. Only eMedical ones may even check without you having letter from CIC if you know IME number

Is anyone has idea how much time required to update line 2 as I have applied for mechanical engineering category and my DD cashed on 4 sep and received email on 12 sep for PER- also I am applying from Dubai'
Now it has been around 2 months and still my 2nd line is not update.
Seniors pls reply.

one need to wait for minimum of 6 to 8 weeks after PER for second line to appear and some sort of request from VO
