Guys update, I received MR.

From this forum I come to know that the following tests will be during Medical Examination. Please guide about the missing tests if any and the info requested below.

1- Eye sight test, examination of mouth, ear, pulse rate, Blood Pressure
2- Chest X ray
3- Urinalysis – What tests ?
4- Blood analysis – What tests other than HIV ?

Any recommendations, like fasting etc ?

Congrats to all whose got updates, MR and PPR. I sent a mail to CDD yesterday asking about application status and he replied today with the following :
We are currently in the process of completing the required background/ security checks for your application. We are unable to provide a specific timeframe for the completion of this procedure.

However, we will be in contact as soon as there have been further developments with the processing of your file.

Any idea of the timeframe this will take considering I have 3rd line added on Ecas and paid RRPF online. Opinions welcomed..cheers

Hi all,

I called Aramex to arrange for passport pickup and have been told that cost is 100 AED per passport per way so if I am sending 4 passports its 400 AED for sending and 400 AED for return.
Are these prices correct for those who sent from UAE?

Can I drop the passport to the Embassy myself ?

Congratulations Soundless and good luck for the landing.

If you want to send your passport to Canadian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, Aramex will be the exremely expensive. Do your research and then send. You may decide to use other well known courier company.

Went to VAC this morning and submitted in person: passports, plus 2x photos, and updated information chart
Have been told it will take 15 working days ... Will collect in person.

Sir jee, Dhaandli tow hamesha awaam k saath hoti hai. We should be relaxed and watch the blame game on T.V. That's more fun than beccoming a part of it. LOL and I think no naya Pakistan can be made till further 10 to 20 years as we are all well fed. Sorry but that's the truth mish Still, relax and cheers. No they don't share any report with you and all the results are uploaded by them. They will only inform you and ask for further tests if there is anything wrong with your results.
