I don't agree that 1 year processing started in January 2014 bcos LVO started issuing MR to few applicants from fsw 2013.1 year processing should be from lock-in-date when applications were received at CIO and processing offices (including LVO) have been told to be mindful of that date and process applications to conclusion.

Yes, agree with hila01, it is from the date application received at cio. Initially, there was confusion b/w application received date & PER date, but VOs cleared it in interview to some applicants.

I do agree with u that the reality on ground could be that processing may exceed one year due to the way LVO is going about with the whole processing.

It might not be too much more than 12 months though.

The VOs at interviews were saying a couple of months. Looking at recent LVO examples we could assume a similar timeline:

• 
  2 to 3 weeks "processing started" to MR
  2 weeks - to do medicals and get them submitted
  1 week - "medicals received"
  1 to 3 weeks - "PPR"

Maybe I'm sounding optimistic, but the Feb/March interviews are over now, and they might not interview many more.

Well, application processing should be completed in a year as committed, other formalities like Visa issuance can take month or two, no problem with that, but decision made (DM) should be in a year other than exceptions.

So, 12 months for application Processing + 1-2 months Visa stamping is also fine.

I have got a query, My ecas started showing process started on 25th Feb.
Normally people are getting medical request within a couple of days from ecas update
or their ecas is updated right after they receive medical request.

Does anyone else have a similar timeline of an ecas update and no medical request.

Is it a normal pattern for LVO ?

People interviewed on 26 & 27th FEB, 2nd line was added on 12th March, MR came on 2nd April.

Hi I-man, farhan and JBZZS ....

i was going through dubai applicants forum and i noticed that the reply me & i-man got (file awaiting review by an officer...) is actually when BG checks are complete and we can expect PPR within a month...some dubai applicants got ppr within 10 days to 26 days of this reply....

lets all be positive inshaAllah...
i wish MR rain for all waiting applicants too....

i have second line "processing started 21st Jan", still no Medical request or RPRF.
