Thanks for the reply. I got the PCC request on email from LNDIMMIGRATION with subject "POST INTERVIEW REQUEST". In which they requested Medical, Right of Landing Fee and Saudi Arabia PCC. My question is Should i ask for the waiver by replying on same email. Do the need to send them some evidence like English translation of my visa and Exit stamp for Saudi. It would be great if you assist what to write to them.

I suggest you reply to them, write "URGENT" in the subject so that your email is answered first:

I have been asked to submit a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) from Saudi Arabia.

As you are aware, the PCC from Saudi Arabia is very difficult, if not impossible, to obtain if one is not a resident there. I was never a resident of Saudi Arabia and I went there on visit visas only. Therefore, I don't even have a local permanent residence number in Saudi Arabia (or Iqama number, as it is known there).

Therefore, I would like to request a waiver from submitting a PCC for Saudi Arabia. I would be very grateful if you can advise on whether this is possible and how to go about obtaining such a waiver.

The pertinent copies of my passport with the visit visas and the entry/exit stamps for the period that I was there are attached.

Even we see LVO issued visa to Ibasco in 5 months... It means they can also do it in real fast way but they dont want to do this and delaying deliberately... Even if they do 6 months BG check then 5 months + 6 months (11 months) i.e. May/June applicants should have received their visas by now....buttttttttt our painful wait still continues...

The question i am not able to understand is that "Why LVO wants to delay?" If we dont consider some countries under high security / BG checks then what about other applicants who belong to different countries? If an Indian applicant under NDVO can get security clearance so quickly then why another indian applicant under LVO cannot get the same clearance so quickly? Where is the problem? What is the catch?

I had asked these same questions in the recent past and most forumites at the time seem to be saying is because of the background checks. It would appear from LVO work pattern that they like to play delay tactics. Look they started inviting people for interview and after that it almost 2 months for updates. Now non interview applicants are sitting idle without knowing what is going on with their apps. Are they saying all other applicants files are put away because of BG and security checks are not completed?

Are they going to call other May, july, august applicants for interview? If yes then what stop them from doing since they have had their files for over 6 months now. If not then what stop them from issuing further instructions to them.

The questions we are asking are legitimate but by LVO using SC ongoing as defence no one is able to confront them.
Everyone knows LVO covers a large catchment area but is also true that not all applicants are from high risk countries and your example of Indian nationals having different treatment between NDVO and LVO is not exception but the norm. In my opinion LVO likes to play delay tactics

There is definitely an "interview queue", so there might be interviews for other people still to come.

We've been thinking in terms of interviews being a bad thing - i.e. implying something is awry that needs checking, but I wonder...
There has been good progress towards medicals by those interviewed, so maybe it is a deliberate attempt by LVO to try and speed things up for all of us (i.e. they have decided to hold more interviews where any questions exist)

Perhaps also there is a queue for every step (e.g. CIC's medical doctors reviewing the medical results provided, a visa officer who checks work experience, etc).

it seems that all most all the interviewees have received medical request. its definitely a good progress i would say. on the other hand i dont see any progress for those applicants who were asked to submit additional documents or resubmit some old documents. hope LVO will have time to handle those files as well.

I am not against interviews where there are questions to be answered. What i dont understand is that there a lot of applicants who file the applications almost a year now but have heard nothing from LVO. As per CIC guidelines interviews are done on few cases and that VO should be able to make decisions on the paper files or evidence. What are all these delay tactics for? It is actually getting ridiculous the way they work on applications
