LMO Processing Time - Please Help

Dear all,

I am currently waiting for my LMO and do not know how much longer it is going to take.

Please can I request advice from those of you that had your LMO applied during the same time frame or those that have reliable information on processing times.

LMO Applied on 29 July 13. HRSDC have confirmed receipt of application.
LMO Applied in Toronto, Ontario.
NOC Code: 0711.

My employer's guess is that it is taking about 10 weeks. I complete my 8th week tomorrow.

Your advice is appreciated.

My sister/employer got a call from HRSDC exactly after 10 weeks....then after a week, she received my LMO. My LMO was filed in Toronto, Ontario as well.

Hi cookie... are you applying under LCP? are u also a nurse... for me, my brother is also my employer, it's exactly my 8th week now but there's no reply yet=(.. They've just asked my brother last week for additional documents about bank accounts. I am hoping tHAT we'll be called soon.....

Yes...LCP. I'm not a nurse though. I had my classroom training (caregiver) in the Philippines. If they called your brother for additional documents, your LMO should be released soon . Coz if they have concerns, they would've told your brother already. Where are you filing your application?

im waiting for my LMO also,,, my consultant applied last Aug. 2. and its my 8 weeks now. I hope it will come next month.

how come it wud be your 8th week if ur consultant applied last August 2, then ur 8th week wud be on september 2 =)

Well, there was one LMO from Saskatchewan that got turned down 3 weeks ago after 11 whole weeks of waiting. As far as my other applications go, I'm still in the 9th week and waiting.

They failed to prove that they couldn't find Canadian or PR for the position offered to him.

It takes Service Canada 4.5 months to find out that....it's really inefficient....
