A long wait ve come to an end yesterday service canada phoned my employer to say the great news
As am living in dubai what i must do
How long it takes to get a Work Permit if i apply with lmo and job offer letter
How long i have to wait for the visa
Please share your experince

You can check average processing time in Abu Dhabi, here's their website: http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/uae-eau/visas/processing-traitement.aspx?view=d . I know some guys who applied in Abu Dhabi it took them 3-4months, semi-skilled applicants. What is your work by the way?

I may be totally wrong on this, but you should check to see if you can get it all done at the border.
I am from New Zealand, (and so do not need a visa to visit Canada) and once I received my positive LMO I gathered all my documents and flag-poled at the border. I got my WP on the spot instead of having to send in the application and wait. I was also already in Canada so that may have made a difference too.

If you are eligible to do that then it will save you months! Check the CIC website.

me too. i live in abu dhabi but i'm now here in the philippines to work for my papers. i will apply as a live-in-caregiver but i my job in UAE is a secretary that's why the agency don't want me to opass my papers in UAE. will it really affect my application? please help.

The processing time for LCP in the Philippines is 15months while in UAE it's much shorter. You're not gonna come back to UAE? You also need to submit police certificate from UAE. Eventhough you're work is secretary it wont affect your apps as long as you have necessary trainings or you meet the reqts in LCP program. Good luck

hi karan. iam also thinking what if we apply our visa in new delhi even we are in dubai . is any affact our application , but mine is 2nd time apply my 1st application was rejected in CIC Abudhabi .

It will b faster in india but i dont want some thing to go wrong
By the way why they rejected your apps before???
Some one in canada refer me to the employer so it was easyer to get the offer still was battling to get the LMO
