Congrats doquer, i choose vfs so that i can track the status of my passport. In my experience to them they informed me thru email nd sms pag ready n ipick up ung passport with visa, and COPR.

hi crazybaldhead, anong vfs? Pinadala ng asawa ko kahapon yung passport nya using LBC. Sa case mo ba ilang araw after ng PR interview ng LC1 bumalik passport ng LC2? Thanks for your input.

Sa akin honeysweetie, thru lbc din almost 9weeks after ng interview ko binalik yung passport ng asawa ko pero ang nkakatatak sa passport na issuance ng visa march 19 pero naibalik sa knya april 23 na.

9-10 weeks din honeysweetie.. Check my timeline....jan 26 PPR/ APRIL 20 Visa on hand ko na.. Nagresign din me ng maaga kc sinulit ko n stay ko sa pinas kc alam ko mttagalan n pguwi ko ng pilipinas.. Ok din kung sa mga courier, pinili ko lng ung vfs glbal ( CANADA VISA APPLICATION CENTER). Cla ung magssubmit sa embassy of canada for visa stamping, at once n ready for pickup eemail k nila at ittxt. Thats it.. Godbless

Hi honeysweetie!! Pwede ko ba ma ask kung saan province and office of interview ka dito sa canada kasi naka receive din ako ng confirmation na complete na process ng application pro hindi pa ako na PPR and interview.. Thanks

Vhen, i am curios also.mine says approved and got a PPR for my dependant & an interview schedule.Completed seems to imply a broader view.

I applied last august 2012 and until now im still holding my open work permit since nov 2012.
My husband done his medical last oct 2014 whoch is nearing to expire this coming october as it is valid for a year only? I dont know what will gonna happen if after October we dont receive anything. Does he need to do remedical again? What should I do? I havnt been home for 3yrs and i wanted to visit home so badly.

Hi ar-ar,

You can go home anytime for a quick vacation coz if you will rely on how they are handling our papers then you'll be stuck waiting. I am May 2012, my LC2 did their medical last year June 2014 but haven't received anything from CIC what to do next. I set it in my mind that for sure we are doing re-medical for my dependants. but who knows they might extend it ;D

You can always book a trip.in my case, i booked a vacation and it so happened that the interview schedule is on the day i'm away.I replied to their email and asked if it can be moved.after a week,they gave me a new schedule after i forwarded my itinerary.
