Have you gotten your sponsor approval yet? Some people can only link it after they receive SA.

oh ok. no- not yet. maybe it's that case then.

So my husband has 7 days (with 5 attempts a day) to open his account and he might not be able to do that until they approve me as a sponsor, is that right?

We could not access ECAS until after SA, so I would recommend waiting until you get it as well. I know they are different, but patience could be the key (and generally is with IRCC!)

No yet. I just got my application number yesterday. Try to enter less info. I think it's essentially a search engine. If you enter too much info- the system might have hard time finding your profile. Also be patient.

so too early to link, only after SA when your case will be transferred to LVO

I just kept trying and trying and it worked. Did not do anything "special". Put all details in including passport.

I believe it is not immediately accessible, usually takes a few days from the day you receive your uci and file number.
