Hello everyone!!! Got a very good news yesterday.I just received my PR approval and passport request for my family in the Philippines.anybody know how long will it take to receive the interview appointment? At long last, malapit na sa finish line Do i still need to renew my open work permit? It will expire on Feb1,2016. Any info will be gladly appreciated.Thank you.

can you post your timeline please?? I'm March 2014 applicant and dependants medical already expired last August but no reassesment yet. I received request for additional August last August though. Meron pa po ba dto nag expire medical last August and no reassesment yet ?

Timeline: May 2014-owp and PR application
July 2014-owp received
August 27,2014- request for additional documents/Medicals done
Sept 25,2015- remedical/reassessment
Nov 1,2015- PR approval and passport request
Don't worry malapit na din yung syo. just pray harder

I got a good news from the CIC this late afternoon. They are pleased to advise me that the processing of my application has been completed. I am required to pay the right of Permanent Residence Fee of $490.00
God is good and the long wait is worthwhile. You will be next...

Mabilis pala sa Edmonton, wala pa sked ng interview LC1 ko, approved Oct 24 pa.

They just ask me if i ever committed a crime, if i do have any other dependents not listed on the application,if i was told to be inadmissible to Canada.that's it.then after that i sign a paper for confirmation of permanent residency.maybe 5-10 mins lang nag-last yung interview.
Ask ko lang kung saan option mo pinadala passport nyo, sa vfs or cem? No need na to send a prepaid envelope right?

Sa DHL ko pinadala directly to CEM, kz kahit ibang courier natin ipadala, DHL pa rin ang nagdedeliver pabalik. Ganun kz sa mga nakaraan nk received, ska I asked DHL, sila daw official courier ng embassy bukod sa vfs. No need pra sa prepaid envelope, you will pay the delivery charge upon delivery. Next day received na ng CEM.
