thanks for the useful information jacky0025 coz for us its says in the PPR that June 2015 will be the expiration of the visa for my dependants. If that's the case then its possible that they will adjust my dependants visa expiration too once we received their passports.

Just want to ask if the expiration of your hubby's passport is already near that's why they adjusted his visa expiration?

Thanks again! :)

Sure, will post an update once we receive it.

FYI only for those who will submit their passports, VFS fee is around P650 per passport if you choose to receive a message that passport is ready for pick-up. If you want to have it sent by courier, there will be additional fees, if I am not mistaken its another P300. Aside from the passport and pictures, they will also get a copy of the approval letter of the LC1. Make sure to photocopy it since a copy will be required per dependant. If you choose to submit it thru courier like LBC rates within metro manila is only less than P100.
hi just want to ask if i need to send my dependants passport sepately ( 1 envelope each).
im planning to send it thru LBC.

If your hubby is born before 1976 he doesn't need the MMR vaccine. But you can double check if its before 1974 or 76, but my memory says its 1976.

I asked St. Lukes why I don't need the shots so that was the officer's reply to me. All my 3 kids were given MMR because immigration either here in the Phils or Canada will check for the vaccination records.

It is not a requirement for Flu vaccine but i would want us to have a shot before we leave or fly to Canada if the time comes for us just for precautionary purpose.
thanks strawberry for the reply!!!.
my husband was born 1986..
my son completed his immunization and had his flu vaccine and pneumonia vaccine just last year.
does my son needs to have the MMR shot before leaving phils.

I did not see this post first but i already replied in the other thread.

copy paste.

Since your child is 8 years old, you can request from his pediatrician an immunization record. He must have been given an MMR shot before and may just need a booster. According to previous posts which i'm having a hard time finding those... MMR is a requirement, that's why I decided to have my children vaccinated at St. Lukes when we had our medical.

By the way the one in charge with the vaccination told me it was optional at that time but reminded me that my children must have the MMR shots before leaving to Canada because the certification will be checked at the immigration of Canada, that's why I decided to give them that shot, besides immunization records are needed to enter school.

This may help... from cic website

Health documentation

Children in Canada are vaccinated—also called immunized—beginning when they are newborns. Vaccinations help to prevent serious infections or diseases.

When you travel to Canada, bring official documents that state what vaccinations you and your family have already had. If you or your child has not been vaccinated, call your doctor or local public health clinic right away.

In Canada, immunization or vaccination records are required for children to enroll in school.

@ vhen, you can put your dependants passports on the same single envelop. that's what I did and we sent them thru LBC too.

Hi vhen,
If you will send it to LBC, there is no need to put it in separate envelopes. Just one will do.
It's when you submit it to VFS that each dependant gets separate plastic envelopes.

Good luck!

Your dependants can have it anywhere as long as from a certified person or institution like doctor's clinic, hospital etc. so that they can give you a certification. License no of the immunization officer is written/stamped to be certified. :D
