Hi all.

Im one of the dependents of my mother in canada. Yesterday,I received a letter about the medical exam. My problem is, I am turning to 6 months pregnancy. What will I do? Do I need to have medical exam? Deadline to comply will be on June or should I wait until my baby is born? Pls enlighten me. Thank you.

because you are pregnant you will not be able to get the xray portion of the exam. you should be able to complete the physical portion of the exam. you will need to write to CIC and notify them you are pregnant and let them know the due date, and once the baby is born (if the baby's father is not a canadian citizen), add the baby to the sponsorship application. Your application will be delayed until you can complete the xray. If the baby's father is canadian, then the baby is canadian, and will not need to be added to the sponsorship application, i believe. i'm sure a senior member can confirm this for you.

Thank you so much.My expected date of confinement will be on September. Im not married yet but the father is Filipino. Would it cause a delay to the other dependents to arrive in Canada. I mean, would it possible for them to travel without me? If I add my baby how long it usually takes?

Baby's father is not Canadian. Would it be okay to include his surname on my baby or better to put mine. We are not yet married but allowed in our country to use the fathers surname.

You say you are not married yet. But does that mean you plan to? Note that you cannot be sponsored as a dependent by your mother if you get married.

Hi Every Body
I am putting the inland application for the spouse. Please advice me about the supporting documents i need for application.
My concern is how i fill out OWP application because it need employment ID and No. et etc in application. Some people suggest me to leave it vacant
Secondally what are the supporting documents people will add to show genuine relationship.
Currently i have joint bank account, lease agreement, letter from doctor for pregnancy, how much financial bank statement i
required, as i am currently student.I have snap for weeding and some trip picture to Toronto, Please let me know any thing that support my application to show its genuineness.
Any suggestion highly appreciated

Yes we are planning but I should be in Canada first. Everthing must be okay. Completed my medical exam including xray. Should I still notify CIC?
