June 28, 2011 - start processing
Dec 4, 2011 - OWP received
Jan. 5, 2013 - 2nd OWP received
June 28, 2013 - Req. Med
July 10, 2013 - Meds done
July 5, 2013 - received first stage of approval

it seems like they are processing LC2 AOR dated jan-mar 2013.. hopefully by next month MR for AOR april-june na! I'm so excited of what God has for us this Christmas!! it looks like were going to have a blessed christmas!

finally, pafso strike just ended but backlog will take several months to clear after union members return to work

sana mapabilis na wala pa din yon AOR ko last june 6, 2013 pa ako nag send ng LC2 namin.....

July when i received my first stage approval, almost 3 mos na my family doesn't receive the LC2 kit yet...what should I do? Prayers are powerful...keeping my faith unto Him. :'(

did you give CIC your complete address and email? try to ask help from your MP to follow up your LC2 kit.

here's what CEM replied when I emailed them:

Dear Applicant,



Please be informed that your application is placed in a queue for review. We will contact your overseas dependents in the future for forms and required documents via mail or email. To date we cannot give a definite timeframe when will we be sending request to your family members.



We trust this information is of assistance.

Sobrang bagal.....my friend who submiited her papers just like me who is is single already got her landing interviw....bat ganun kung sino pa yung mga may pamilya sila pa mas lalong pinapahirapan....

ganun talaga ...kung sino pa yung me dependent eh sila pa yung sobrang tagal..oct 2010 ako nag pass ng PR application ko,pareho kami ng single friend ko,nag open work permit kami ng dec 2011,..after 3 mos..na interview na sia for PR.....ako heto pa din..malapit ng matapos ang 2013,wla pa ding linaw..hay..well ganun talaga..we have to wait and keep our trust and believe in God...magsasawa din ang CIC sa mga papel natin..hehe...Good luck everyone..

I asked for our MPs help to followup my LC2 application and heres their message to me:

We were able to get a status update on your file from CIC. Here are the notes from our conversation.
- Your family's file was received in Manila on Feb 22 2013
- On August 22 2013 an initial review of the file was done
- The processing times for dependants of live-in caregivers is 30 months from when the file is received in Manila
