Hi,

Yes it does, but well not be a refused due to healed TB. You may be asked to do re-medical and some additional testes like C.T Scan, Sputum , comparison X-ray etc.. it will delay the process by 6-9 month further delay after medical.See other details on this post, after you will receive PR with medical surveillance for inactive TB. http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t84219.0.html

Do not worry go for medical and inform the DMP regarding your treatment.

Thank You so much for posting this info, I had problem though I dont know if it was TB cause I was never diagnosed that I have one, I have not receive any recomendations from the DMP either, I just had my Medical Exam last Thursday, my chest X-ray shows a past infection, the doctor asked me If I had one, I said yes cause I though of having cough a month ago, I ask the nurse onduty if there will be next step if there is anyproblem but she told me that I will just wait for the VO to email me if they will require for further inverstigation, I hope It will not affect my PR.

Hi, my application for sowp is on process, same with others who had there med exams, i am one of those wo were diagnosed with latent tb. I just want to ask if its possible that i may be issued with visa? Ive had all my med test already and had medical clearance. I am just wondering if i can also be given a chance to have a visa for sowp application. Thanks!
