Last digits of Sin scam

@legalfalcon this is not immigration related. But I'm scared. Kindly clarify. I got a scam call recently asking for full name ,postal code and last three digits of sin . Unfortunately I gave it and at this point I disconnected the call without waiting for further questions. I have made complaints with anti fraud service. I'm registering with equixfax and transunion Tomo. I don't have a CRA account yet.

Tomo I'm visiting bank. I'm new here and not much credit history. What can they do with this info. Can u help me with solutions.

They need your name birthdate and address to pull credit report details.
SIN and postal code is not related at all.

Unfortunately, this is a classic scam that goes on all over Canada.

Keep a close eye on your credit score, any Credit cards being taken in your name etc. Do this for a few months to be safe.
