Landing for the first time into Canada by driving in my own car.

I am an Indian Residing in US, who just recieved a PR to migrate to Canada. I am planning to "land" in canada for the first time with my family by driving through the land border.My car is a 2010 Toyota Highlander which I brought for $11k this Feb. I want to know what paperwork and fees is required to bring my car from US if I am driving it while landing in Canada for the first time. Also is it worth the hassle or is it more advisable to sell the car in US and buy another one in Canada?
