landing date and PR expiry date is different

i just noticed that my PR card exipry date is almost 50 days ahead of my landing date.
why it is so ?
which date will be valid at the port of entry. the one on PR card or the landing date in record.

Hi

If you are a returing PR, at the POE they will check whether you will meet the Residency Days requirement [considering the days you spent after the Landing (date)]
The PR Expiry date will be considered
