I am going to apply in a Hairdressing course at Aveda Institute Toronto
I am really looking forward to this course but the only thing thats bothering me is my previous education and the gap.
This is my brief history
2008 Bachelors of Fashion Design - Pakistan
2009 Foundation Degree of Fashion and Clothing - UK
2010 - 2013 Got back to pakistan and started teaching Fashion Design and Started my fashion line.

Fashion business has been really demanding interms of finance. Iv decided to pause it for now and get into another field for the safe side.

I need a second opinion, is it going to be a negative point in my case that im switching into another field and im also worried about the 3 year gap.

Yes. you can justify if you have solid documents and you need to provide stronger SOP. But field change is big problem.

Go for some fashion designing course.
They will never accept a guy from different continent coming so far to study a hair dressing program.

Isit possible to get into a design course, get a visa, and then change it to another course.
And also, can i change the college after the arrival?

Yes, when you get a visa and enter Canada, then you can change the course.
But make sure you choose a college under SPP list.
Otherwise you won't get any work permit and will be told to leave country after course completion.

If you are from pakistan than you are not eligible to apply under SPP. check the below link.

Sorry, I thought you're from india.
But still this all are public-funded colleges.

So Study in this colleges only.
Don't go for any private Institute.
