Landed at Peace Bridge Yesterday!!

I am happy to share with everyone my children and I landed yesterday around 11 a.m. We drove to Buffalo with passports, arrived at 8 a.m. and were landed by 11. The process was easy and the IO's were very polite and friendly. Kids will start school tomorrow and I will head to Service Canada for applications. Thank you to this forum and I intend to check in from time to time if for no other reason than to help provide insight or comfort to anyone who has similarities in their case. You say you arrived at 8 and were landed at 11 - did the landing procedure take three hours?!

No, I arrived in Buffalo at 8 a.m. with our passports to get the C.O.P.R. and the Visa put in our passports, got out of there around 10:50. It's like 7 minutes to the Canadian border from the consulate there in Buffalo. The landing process for four of us (me and my 3 children) took about 30 minutes.

they seem to be processing much faster now, but unfortunately it seems like the same story for almost all of us who filed back in february/march... still waiting waiting waiting.

Was it at the middle of the term?
How easy was that. I am based in the UK, my son is in Reception. Starts Year one in september here in the UK.
but if hopefully, we get to canada before september? will my son be accepted in the middle of the term?
