aww i just called hubby and told him your story nae... i was reading out to him what hubby did to you... he said this man giving some good ideas so i can just imagine what he is going to do lol hahaha... anyways i am keeping my fingers crossed that my hunny get the call in the next month to drop off his pp cause im in KG from feb. 12 to feb. 25... come on Kingston who is next?????

First of all CONGRATS NAE ..... It is the BEST feeling in the world to get that final call..... isn't it!!!!!! YA YA YA...So another one is done with KG... WOW...the old forum is almost done.....making room for all the new ones.... 8) SO HAPPY FOR YOU AND MR. NAE!!!!!

So things are awesome here, my stepdaughter is starting school on thursday and we got hubby's SIN number today ...and found out he can take french courses paid by the government for the next 6 months if he wants...lol. So he is thinking about it...decision yet to come : We met with Immigration Quebec this afternoon and I must say the man was extremely pleasant and hubby got along with him great, he was very informative and helped us with lots of the forms ;D and of course I start back to work next Monday..ugh ...but March break is right around the corner ;D ;D . I am SOOOO happy right now and things are great and I finally have the best family dinners I have waited so many years to have ;D ;D

Rosemel so happy to hear that all is well.... great update... I am wondering is it just because you are in Quebec that the french courses are being offered to hubby??? I am wondering because I am was born and raised in Quebec and most of my family is still there and hubby don't speak french at all... My family don't really speak english so I will have to translate everything for everyone that's why I would be interested in knowing more about it... could you gimme more info if possible.... thanks!!!!

Congrats Nae on your quick call for PP Pickup, 9 days until you have your hubby home with you! That is amazing! Congrats! with the recent trip to JA and seeing hubby these last few days should give you enough time to prepare for your hubbies arrival! So happy for you.

Rosemel, so happy for you too and glad that things are working out... Love to read reunion stories. Hope hubby and kids adapt easy to the winter... My hubby too came in November to the freezing cold so its hard for them to believe that it gets just as warm as JA in the summer...

Canuck lol, man that was a throwback post, look how old school the tracker was, and short... not a lot of people compared to now... one of these days I should go back and read the old posts... I wonder if our Kingston Thread on the old forum is still viewable or did they shut it down? Does anyone ever go over to that forum and check if people are asking questions or if there is a forum for Kingston over there anymore... we all seemed to find the old forum before this one... I never knew this one even exsisted... I will have to check one of these days.

Good morning all

Still on a high from Nae's good news!

I am finally seeing the start of my process, as this weekend I will be done compiling all our evidence and signing the application. Next week I am going to do my medical and police record, and then everything is off to hubby for submission.

Kc, yes, I will gladly take over if Nae wants to hand that off. She will have a whole lot to do prepping for hubby's arrival and settling in!

Rosemel, encourage hubby to take the French lessons. Even if he only gets the basics, it will be good for him! Although I will be going to northern ON, I plan to take French lessons too. Canada is bilingual, I think it's important that I be able to manage in both the languages.

Let's go, KG, let's go! NEXT!!

It is a wonderful feeling isn't it. Soon our friends on here will be joining us as KG is making room for them.
Charlie congrats on getting your app ready, will be fun to watch your progress. I can remember when I was getting ready to send in, nervous, happy, second guessing everything. You're going to have a quick trip I think, our scribes have been very successful. You'll want to take some french lessons as well, northern ON speaks both english and french but french is thier first language in most places
