Along with all the other peeps who are hearing positive news!! YAY!

I have a quick update and question for whoever...

Update: I am being induced within the next 2 weeks! My husbands friends say we are going to have a Easter baby / "Bun and cheese" baby! LOL!

Question: Husbands Police Check was stamped for Mar 26/ 2013 - but there was no expiry date on it..should we just wait until KGN requests a new one or go ahead and get another one done??

The one you have now is expired. They were only vaild for one year at the time you got it. I would go and get him to get another one now. If they request PPR at least you will have it done already and it will save time and money

Bun & cheese baby LOL! So cute

Your husband PC is expired for sure and since you are near the 1 year mark Kingston might contact him soon, so it's up to you to do it on the 21 days (cheaper), and avoid any further delay when they request it, that's my two cents and that is what we did my hubby and I. We are hoping and praying everyday that he will get a call, the sooner the better as I told him.

I would save your money and just get the 3 week one. If your notes show that other than the medical hasn't been done on your file...then you have time. This is just my opinion however.

3 weeks is 3000.00 and the 5 day express is 6000.00 and the 24 hour on ( only avail in Kingston) is 8000.00

Also it could take a week or more for Kingston to even get back to your MP. That don't always reply back to them right away. I have been waiting for almost a week now for a reply back from my MP as they needed to check something with Kingston regarding my mixed up medical!!! LOL it's always a waiting game.

but in all honestly hun I would just do the 3 week police check. You do have 2 weeks left on your other one anyways. So the extra week won't matter really

You're welcome. This process can be very stressful. I have found that being on here has eased some of that though.

Hi Everyone

Hubby and I landed on Monday night. Process was really quick, they asked a few questions, stamped and signed the forms and sent us on our way. So happy that I flew home with him, it was such a great experience. Flying into Toronto, he says, babe, whats that huge building over there, I've never seen anything that tall before - I told him it was the CN Tower and to wait till he is standing under it! When we landed, my brother, sister in law, best friend and my kids were waiting for us with signs that the kids made and balloons. When they saw us come through the doors, my kids ran up to us and gave him a big hug. We were expecting a giant 8 passenger van to drive us all home, but were surprised when the SUV limo that my dad had rented for us pulled up. We drank champagne and listened to music the whole way home. Thankfully there were no tears - I am crier and thought I would end up in full on tears when we got to Canada, but I held it all together! Since he landed, we have spent time getting SIN number, banking, etc all organized. It still feels surreal when I look at him! I am so thankful that this process is all over now and am looking forward to everything that we get to do together!
