Thank You so much for keeping me on your mind.
I have been well, I am wishing that I could travel but my plate is so full right now. I am up to my neck with work. I guess that is not such a bad thing because it keeps me very busy.
No updates on my file but hubby and I are doing well. Burning up the phone lines I know you know what I mean. I will try to see if I can take a quick trip in a few months. I am happy that your hubby is here now and you have a real "live blanket" so happy for you girl.

You know what I realize is that this process no matter how hard and long it is this will come to an end someday.
I am hoping that everyone who has their passport waiting to be returned be returned soon.

I am praying that all the old timers would be reunited with their spouses by the end of Jan 2014. This will give the VO to work on the new files.

Take care of yourself and hubby and the same for hubby to take care of you.

So, so happy to hear you are now calm in the face of the storm :-* and you and hubby are weathering it together. I think we all have moments where we go "that's it", I'm done ......husbands and wives alike but you are so right - there will be a end to it all even when it does not feel so.

Thanks for the good wishes, yes hubby and I are adjusting happily with a few glitches but nothing we cannot conquer together. He takes very good care of me and I do the same for him so we are both evenly matched in that area which is so nice!! Being busy is good for you actually, it helps to keep one from obsessing too much........notice I do not say it stops one from obsessing !! Hugs and prayers my dear and don't be a stranger, you have wisdom and encouragement to share, as well as visiting for some extra support on those days when you may need it.

This waiting game is crazy enough, but then when you are so close making people wait so long for their passports to be returned must be beyond frustrating!!! :-\

If your passport is all that needs to be submitted then it normally takes around 2 weeks to return to you but when you have to submit other documents (ie: police check, medicals etc.) then it can take longer as they need to look at the paperwork first so they will usually put a bring forward date on your file to go back and see if everything is submitted. Their bring forward dates are usually 30, 60 or 90 days from when they ask for the documents.
