although Jamaica don't have a lot of luxury like the have oversea.....One thing about Jamaica is the the people our here are happy even with nothing at all........we as ppl know how to survive with nothing at all.

Jamaica has all the luxuries as any other place in the world and even more, we own the same types or even better house and we drive the same types of cars. What we don't have is a system in place to provide food, clothing, shelter, medical and education services, thus making us a third world country.

So this Saturday will be One Year my husband has been in Canada! And wow...time just flew by, it's been a super busy year for us..His first week in Canada he was workin , driving , and night school..I'm so proud of him for all his accomplishments- he's doing Amazing.
He has established his credit, and we bought our first house, it will be ready in 18 days , can't wait to move in! I cant believe he hasnt complained about a single thing..I'm so grateful I have such a good man.

I know the waiting and the immigration process seems like forever, but it's really a good time to plan your future and let your loved one know what to expect about Canadian culture.

I know how to survive with nothing as well. Hubby said to his father tonight my wife appreciates everything and knows how to live. If I had a airbed she would be happy.

that is so good.......as long as a person can adapt to there surrounding without the fuss and fight they would be ok.....I know that a lot of ppl from overseas come here and get a culture shock.......lol.........but once they get use to it....it comes like nothing any more.

hey there my family, how things with you......I sure do agree with you on the last part of your statement but why I say that Jamaica don't have a lot of luxury like the so called first world country is because here in a lot of places in Jamaica is still backwards. yes I know you can get a lot of things here in Jamaica just like overseas if you don't have the proper essentials im place like you said in your statement. how are you going to get the luxury things them.........first of all if you don't have a job you will not going to be able to afford nice things unless you inna badness and that do last for long our here or anywhere for that matter. and my last point is that the most of the luxury things prices is so high that it so hard for most ppl to buy also......

Good Morning everyone! I just got back from Jamaica yesterday a week was way too short!!! missing my husband like crazy n its only been a couple of days since I left. I got to work this morning and I had sent Kingston a email from my work email and this is what they sent back to me.

This Family Class application was received by our office on 25 September 2012 after being forwarded by Case Processing Centre Mississauga. This application is currently pending initial review, after which we will contact the applicant directly to advise the outcome of the review and any next steps.

We are striving to make our processing of Family Class applications as efficient as possible. We continue to meet our commitment to a service standard of 6 months to finalization for at least 80% of cases for sponsored spouses, partners, and children.[/color] Processing times are calculated from the date the application is approved by Case Processing Centre Mississauga, after which it is sent to the visa office for further processing. For individual cases, actual processing times may vary depending on the complexity of the application and the number of new applications received by the visa office.
