I tried the Iced Capps too, bounced off the walls for a couple hours and swore them off along with every other variety of the demon beverage (AKA coffee). They are nice on a hot day, but we don't have enough of those here to make them worth it, haha.

You need to send the medical form, IMM1017 from your spouse ASAP so Ottawa can approve you to sponsor your spouse and forward the file to KG. They handle some of the approvals in Ottawa, it is acting as an overflow office for CPC-M.

Can anyone tell me if they had to request phone records from Digicel and how the process worked for them?

My husband calls my land line on his cell phone and the only proof of our phone calls are through Digicel. Digicel was only able to provide phone records for the previous three months before the date we submitted our application to CIC (which is VERY unfortunate because we had 3 years worth of extensive phone calls!!!!). My husband had to travel to Kingston to request the phone records from Digicel, show them identification, pay them, and then pick the phone records up in Montego Bay. We want to get phone records from Digicel every three months so we have more proof of our communication incase we are asked. Digicel is now telling us they want the request to come from immigration...which is NEVER going to happen...

Does anyone know if there is an easier way to obtain phone records from Digicel? Any advice or personal experiences you may have would be greatly appreciated.

Nevaha can't u request your phone records from ur phone company it would show the incoming calls from his number

It was difficult for us to get phone records from Digicel too. They said the same thing that immigration would have to request it. Instead I sent in my phone records and just highlighted the incoming calls from my hubby's #

Actually I'm surprised you were able to get anything from digicel. My husband tried to get his records and they told him they only do that by court order. They did not even give him the option to pay for some....on the bright side I just printed of a few of my bills when I used to call him n hang up for him to call back....highlighted his number, and that was only couple months worth barely any phone records and it wasn't an issue.

Good Morning All! Just passing thru, how is everyone doing? Been super busy with work n kids, my husband is well adjusted here, no issues so far. For us, I can't really say much has changed. He is still the same person he was in Jamaica actually, just drinks iced caps now lol. He has a good job as a mechanic (which was his licenced trade in Ja) so it has all worked out. I would have thought he would av had more trouble getting used to things, but nope, he just rolling along. He has connected with a couple of his high school friends that been here from time, and he occasionally goes out parties with them...which is good cuz I am sure he misses his friends back home. The only thing left to do is add another little one, but unfortunatly doesnt look like it's happenning anytime soon, so until then we just keep it moving. I wasnt able to read back much to see what's been going on, but welcome to all newbies, and keep di faith to all who still in the struggle, and howdy to all the older members. Hope everyone is well.

I did the exact same thing... highlighted his number and they were all only one minute calls but maybe four or five a day on some days... In my file notes it stated that I "submitted phone records showing phone calls to the same number that applicant listed on application". So obviously they are satisfied with that....

Hi, I'm a newbie to this forum, well actually I've been on here since the ending of may just to find out information regarding my file. I have a question. I sent in my application but my husband didn't do his medical. I thought that they were going to sent back my application and that I was going to have to resend it in to mississauga but I got an email telling me that my application is incomplete and in order for them to process it I need to send in the medical paper. The address where I have to send it in is in Ottawa. Does this mean that they already sent my file to Ottawa and their just waiting for my medical to transfer my file to kingstonI didn't even get an AOR.
