The sponsered spouse questionaire.....my husband filled it all out. But I just noticed it says spouse/partner questionare. Were we supposed to fill it out together LOL LOL??

Hello everyone!!!

Hubby dropped off his passport this afternoon ;D ;D ;D Youpi!!!!!

I also just got home and got a CD from Caips... OMG there is 461 pages.. which 20 are the caips then the rest is the application I sent them... I can't find much info... It either says in progress or not started... so it looks like Kingston is going back to there old ways by not updating CAIPS... All I am seeing is really a big paragraph of the development of our relationship and explaining things about each other...

I had also ordered the medical file but they wrote me a letter with the cd stating please note our Health Branch was not able to locate the medical file at this time. In the Caips notes it says excessive demand exempt applicant with no identified health condition, no surveillance required.

Smoothies Queen... I wrote everything part 1 and 2 of the application and hubby just signed where it was needed...

LOL, lonely_wife, you have to specify the CAIPS notes, not the CAIPS file, that's why you ended up with all those pages including the actual application you sent.

SmoothiesQ - I filled out the Sponsored Spouse/Partner and the Sponsor's forms and hubby signed where necessary. The answers in the sponsored spouse questionnaire are from the perspective of the applicant, but really most couples end up doing them whatever way works best for them. In our case, I did them both because hubby is no good with dates. He did his own relationship development "essay" with no help from me though.

I AM SO HAPPY FOR EVERYONE!!!!! What great news for lonely and chuckie and anyone else who got updates. I guess they were just working hard. I was talking to my husband and telling him how quiet things have been... I have a feeling it may get quiet again real soon as easter holidays are coming up...

I always wanted to look into blue cave caste charlie, Irving I have stayed at Villas Sur Mer MANY times...

Lonely the prices to travel to JA right now are ridiculous from Ontario funny tho there is lots of seat sales from Calgary direct to JA...

Thanks Randysgirl... and prices are ridiculous for sure... I am not sure of when exactly we will book for all depends on when the visa expires... if it expires at the same time as the medical he will be leaving jamaica with me June 20 or so... if not then ill take the first cheapest ticket lol

Hey Charlie.... Princess Tiana is sooo sweet.... I love her to bits n peices. She is taking a beauty sleep right now and should be up any moment... her schedule is exactly the same as when she was in my belly.. She used to wake up around 10pm every night and since she has been home she has been sleeping this time then up at 10ish, sucks, gets diaper change and then is a sleep by 11:30ish again...

She had her 2nd bath today.. the first one she didnt like at all... but this one was much more productive and she didnt even bawl... she is becoming so patient and quiet... just like her daddy.

Randysgirl... I hear you.. I have been looking to fly back to JA via MBJ from YYZ and the seats are about 900. In 2007 2008 2009 when I was going every 8 weeks or so I was getting flights for 350 max. There was always sales.... now its just crazy!! SIGH!

Hellooo Forum Family....

It seems like a loooong time since I last posted. I tried to read all the post but am really tired today. I flew in from Jamaica last night on a late flight arrived home at 240 am and woke up early to bring my son to school and go to work. Ahh man no rest for the wicked...

My Trip

It was a blessed two weeks that I had spent with my hubby. It was like my best out of 11 trips in the last 3 years that we had spent together. We all have had good trips but man this was the best of all time!! I am so tired but happy at the same time. I am thankful for the time well spent together...I went to a concert in Ochi got to see Movado, Elephant Man and Wayne Marshall all for FREE @ Margaritaville as LADIES WERE FREE...

I had a blast! went to Negril, Kingston, Mo Bay all the hot spots...relaxed on the beach and had some fun times behind closed doors LOL.

Anyway Congrats to all the exciting news that I have reviewed....Babies being born, passport requests and landed hubbys...wow I missed alot.

I also got home to check my immigration status on Ecas as soon as I came home...It states my application is being reviewed as of March 17, and medical results received....Does anyone know what the next step is during this processing?

When I was in Jamaica, my husband had me check the mail and no we still haven't received the AOR? but I'm sure hoping we collect that call soon for passport drop off.

I feel sad but I know I soon will be reunited with my husband.....

Hey Everyone!

I've been away for a while. Big congratulations to lonely and everyone else who got updates

I happened to check e-cas this morning and we have an update to in process finally

We received **********'s application for permanent residence on November 8, 2010.

We started processing ********'s application on April 5, 2011.

Medical results have been received.

So hopefully not much longer, its nice to have some movement now.
