oh... and my E-CAS only says application recieved... not even In Process... I have a feeling this is going to be a long process for my husband and I. BOOOO.

But... on a positive note...

On my way to work today I saw Canadian Geese... which means they must know it's going to get warmer here....!! YAY! and you know what that means..... warmer weather means cuter clothes!! YAY!!

I feel like Kingston is so incompetent right now but I don't want to start a negative vibe.... Ill just shut my mouth sit back and relax myself... At times like these I say the serenity prayer and emphasize on ACCEPT THE THINGS I CANNOT CHANGE AND COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS THAT I CAN... in this case i can't change anything to gotta accept whatever happens

I thing pre-screening is when they check to make sure all the documents are there and send you a letter for doc request but I could be wrong...

lonely_wife i know we have to try and keep a positive vibe but hon to be honest that can be so hard at times, its as if we really dont know where we stand, whether they are working on our cases or not. I so want this to be over and done, and I keep praying everday but...........

lonely wife - don't worry!! perhaps I can help....my MP said that once the medicals were received the next step was for the file to go to someone for a final review which sounds like the screening they are talking about. This is some kind of audit to make sure the file was done correctly, everything is in place and they haven't made any mistakes....if any steps were forgotten this is where it is caught. Then they request the PP. The fact that the MP is making some inquiries is helpful, KG seems to move a little more when that happens. My CAIPS notes said the decision was made on Dec 16/10 but the PP call didn't come until Jan 4. Now I know there was some holidays in there but they had to do their final checks. My MP said KG is not forthcoming on info and she had to be careful how she worded things with them...one wrong thing said would put them on the defense and they would not give out any info at all. Especially if KG knows they made a mistake! Sit tight girl, the file is on it's way to the end of the line....hubby WILL be coming home with you in June!!!

about ecas....we know it's got some kinks and bugs lately since they have a system migration going on. It sucks I know, I used to look at it everyday just to see if anything changed....it's a godsend and a curse at the same time lol As soon as it changes you wait for some word from KG. But lately, it's put everyone on a roller coaster ride...up, down, up down.....if you can make it to the end of this ride it is totally worth it!!!

Charlie - have fun with hubby. I heard from a little birdy that MISSINGMYBOO's husband has been asked to bring in his PP so after the interview, the questioning, medical redos etc.. they are on the final leg. Very happy for her since she is probably the one with the longest wait right now.

Waiting-for-a-star - I wish you and hubby the best for the upcoming interview... we will keep you in our prayers.

Lonley_wife, thats too bad that your MP wont help out too much. I hope too that the 60 day BFD is correct and you hear some news soon. All i know is that we have a ZERO denial rate so far on this forum so its just a waiting game...and who doesnt hate waiting... its so hard to have patience waiting for the line in the grocery store never mind having to wait for your husband or wifey to join you so you can start to live your life.... so, you have every right to feel down.. and let it out, dont hold it in. It is sooooooooooooo frustrating. I was frustrated and my file was processed in 8 months from when I sent it in to Missisauga. I cant imagine how people feel waiting for more than that.

I am going MAD waiting for my little princess... due in 12 days... this seems like the longest wait ever.... I am so selfish tho, all i want is to have my pre-baby body back and a pint of my favourite beer and a double ceaser with extra worchestershire sauce. YUMMY!!

jahlove... i know how you feel trust me.... only thing we can do it be patience but at times i feel like my patience is running out....

nae.. thanks for the info... I am really hoping my hubby gets to come back with me in june... it would be perfect to come home with hubby after his mothers wedding... I would love for him to get his visa a little before then so I can stop worrying lol but oh well we will see what happens... Can't wait to get caips and I am hoping there is a bring forward date that we can see this way the anxiety of not knowing what is happening will go down....

KC... I tell you my MP is kidda getting under my skin but I am trying hard to stay positive even though at times its not easy... It is frustrating but I don't want this to take a hold on me... I don't want to complain either cause I know others have waited longer... I have faith that we will soon hear something... BTW wow Tiana soon be part of the world.... that is great news... Hey gang, ecas is going to be very unreliable so don't sweat it too much. CIC is moving their computerized system to the new GCMS (Global Case Management System). It's causing glitches with ECAS but it is nothing to worry or stress about. It will all get sorted out when they are finished.

lonley_wife lol complain all you want... Who else is going to understand like us. I used to complain on here all the time then when i was around family, friends, co workers and when I would spend my 3 hours on the phone at night with hubby I didnt have to worry about letting loose on them. Everyone thought I handled the situation pretty well... little did I know I had a huge support system that helped me manage through the long stretch.

Well, we are still waiting just a phone call away but not taking anything for granted as we know KGN can be SO unpredictable. Still they need to move their baxside & bring my hubby home to me cant do any more cleaning, re-arranging just want to book!

I just finished laundry and scrubbing the tub I am hoping that this helps onset labour - I have been doing everything possible including all the old wives tales that are supposed to bring on labour and nothing is working....Hubby is happy at the every day requests he gets though LMAO
