I still get the forms mixed up. I am thankful that at the time I started my forms, all I had to do was call Mississauga and request the package and they mailed me the forms and all instructions included. I find it very confusing when I see many members asking about each form and validation code instructions lol. I was lucky I ordered my forms before my wedding because if I had waited until around the time I submitted them, surely they would have started this new process by then.

As Ali got hers very late in the night, it is possible for me to receive them on a weekend??? I think it is an automatic upload and then emailed or am I wrong?

The website is now set up a bit easier so you can actually see what forms are for whom, instead of one everlasting list like it used to be. I think that makes it easier, when the list is clearly divided. I also think the new guide is pretty user-friendly. Not too many people read the Guide before diving into the forms, which is sad because they really do walk you through a lot of the questions in the guide.

Yes, they can come on a weekend, I think.

that is great if it is possible. One thing is, Ali ordered hers from a middle man company, caips.com I think she said. She was able to track their progress with it. And if I remember correctly it was late evening the night before her husbands interview that she received them by email. Im thinking like around midnight ish, just hours before the interview...

I didn't use that company and just ordered them through the regular government address so therefore I am unable to track their progress and not sure if it will be automatically sent to me like hers were. I hope so, might be good reads on my night shifts lol... until then, I guess I will make do with "Fifty Shades of I need my husband"!

OK, so the form that your hubby took to the doctor would have been the Appendix C from the Regional Guide. On completing the examination, the DMP would have given him a smaller green/white form with his photo on it, as mentioned by Jamgirl, which the doctor would have signed and stamped with a maple-leaf stamp with his DMP number on it. THAT green/white form is the IMM1017. This should have been attached to the application, as it is required by the document checklist.

I see from the last update list that you already received sponsor approval and your file has been transferred to KG, which means that you likely did attach the medical form to the application. Otherwise, your application would have been returned to you, because proof of valid medicals is an essential component of a family class application. CPC-M usually sends back applications if something is wrong with the medical (AliCat had hers returned because the first medical they did was expired by the time the application reached CPC-M).

However, IF you still have the IMM1017 for some reason, get it ready with the package of additional documents and send it to KG, ASAP. Don't wait for them to ask hubby for it. Make sure you include a cover letter showing you have it in the package.

I still have that form! First thing Monday, I will send it off. I pray that they haven't sent in back already as mail takes so long to get to me (approval letter received end of July a whole month later).

Do you think I can call them and get an answer as to If they already sent it back? I really don't want that to happen.

No, KG won't send the application back, since you were already approved to sponsor him. What will happen is they will ask him to submit the exam proof ASAP, so get it off to them pronto. Send a case-specific enquiry email advising them that it is on its way. They might not answer it, but they will make note and might not bother contacting him to get it done since they know it was already done and is being submitted.

I am pretty sure the entire street heard me screaming the Jamaicans around the track for the 4x100m race. Our lads were golden and did it in record time, too!

Mi vex that Canada didn't get the bronze medal, but must give the guy who went out of his lane real props for saying it was his fault and admitting he caused his team's disappointment, very manful of him to admit that. I have to commend his spirit of sportsmanship, and that of the T&T team for consoling the Canadians as they claimed the bronze medal.

Bitter sweet moment for sure I was soo excited for both teams and when I heard canada got diqualifed...wow the tears came down...at least we can still lay claim to the third fastest time in our hearts ...I feel so bad for them though wow this oympics was not a good one for canada

Oh man that was sad.... How do they post results if there may be a problem... I felt that for Canada! Sad! But they are the top 3 and they will always have a story to tell. I Wundt want to win by default but as my son said a medal is a medal especially in the olympics. Great job Canada! Awesome job Jamaica! Big up ya self!

Hello, newcomer with the really long name!! ;D Stick and stay, won't you please, and welcome! Yes, CPC-M is taking about 3 months or just under to approve sponsors. Lucky you, you get to be with your family in Canada in the meantime!

What are your plans when you get to PR? School or work? Or both, maybe?

LMAO Have to put my two cents in on this one! This is the official sport of Canada so read up and learn Charlie! I was even able to convert my hubby to watching hockey and he says it is not much different then football except it is on ice! Die hard, Die hard Leafs fan here! I have faith they will do something someday! What else do you have if you don't have faith!

thanx charlie!!! Im really confused, cuz I got the approval letter 2 days ago from mississauga...but they havent updated ecas to decision made on sponsor side.....so thats y i was wondering if kg added that to my hubbys side that medical results have been recieved.

I second what CharlieD say too...my status was updated in the system approx. a week later. Also keep in mind that they update the status once per week, Which is usually Tuesday or Wednesday, so activity near the end of the week won't be reflected in the status until the following week at the very earliest. Congrats on your approval!!!
