can anyone please help me in calculating my CRS Score for express entry

Age - 29

Education - MSc Accounting & Finance- 1 year, BA Accounting- 3 years, BCOM -2 years

Work Exp - Call Centre Supervisor (Skill Level B) - NOC 6314 (10 months Full Time) & (20 months Part Time)
Accounts Executive (Skill Level B) - NOC 1131 (12 months)

IELTS - L-8, R-9, W-7.5, S-7

Actually I am confused whether my experience as a Call Centre Supervisor will be considered or not because firstly its not related with my studies & secondly its also part time

Use CIC's Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) tool - Skilled immigrants (Express Entry)

Thanks for your reply

I've already made my profile and it calculates 475 CRS points but I've met few consultants who have created this doubt in my mind that even if I receive the ITA your application will not be processed further because your work experience as a Call Centre Supervisor is not linked with your studies and you can only claim points for 1 year experience as an Accounts Executive.

I missed to answer that in your first post.

There is no concern wrt your education not being linked to CC job, but what is not counted as per CIC is part time jobs. The MEC is for full time paid jobs (or the equivalent in part-time e.g., more than one part-time job held simultaneously or one or more part-time jobs held over the equivalent of at least one year of full-time work) only.

Work experience can be calculated by adding up the number of weeks of full-time (or equivalent) paid work, for example:

30 hours/37.5 hours per week in one job, or a total of at least 30 hours/37.5 hours per week in more than one job) in one or more skilled occupations at:
  • Skill Type 0 (Managerial occupations);
  • Skill Level A (Professional occupations); or
  • Skill Level B (Technical occupations and skilled trades) of the NOC.

Work experience must be acquired over a period of at least one year; work in excess of 30 hours/37.5 hours per week over a shorter period cannot compensate for any shorter overall period of experience.

You can count part-time work toward the work experience requirement, as long as you were not a full-time student at the time.
However, you must have gained the equivalent amount of experience as someone who worked full-time for at least one year (1560 hours)

Thanks alot for your detailed reply

So my 20 months part time experience accumulate to 1773 hours but it wont get considered becoz I was a full time student......?

Can you please also help me with the duration of Bank Statement as Proof of Funds, how old my bank statement should be? Because I've just started to maintain it.

And regarding payslips, last three months payslips are sufficient? and what should I do if I get paid via cheque? how do I prove my income?

I hope wont mind such long questions

So my 20 months part time experience accumulate to 1773 hours but it wont get considered becoz I was a full time student......? A: The full time student part is applicable only for CEC (applicants in Canada only) and not for outsider FSW applicants. So if you are an FSW your experience will be counted.

Can you please also help me with the duration of Bank Statement as Proof of Funds, how old my bank statement should be? Because I've just started to maintain it. A: PoF is required for last 6 months at least. If it's less than that then justification for the money transfer and it's liquidity should be provided.

And regarding payslips, last three months payslips are sufficient? and what should I do if I get paid via cheque? how do I prove my income? A: As such pay slips are not required by CIC, unless it is specifically asked by the assessing officer at the time of assessment later for further investigations etc.

I hope wont mind such long questions

Call Centre Supervisor (Skill Level B) - NOC 6314 (10 months Full Time) & (20 months Part Time)
Accounts Executive (Skill Level B) - NOC 1131 (12 months) A: This makes it 10 + 10 (half of 20) + 12 =32 months = 2years 8 months and not 3 years.
and regarding proof of income how do I prove it bcoz it does not credited into my account I just cash out the pay cheque I get every month. A: You need to show PoF in your account under your name for the number of persons (family size) in your application as per CIC requirement.

As long as 'paid' is written in the reference letter salary proof or pay slips aren't required, unless the assessor needs it (for any further investigation). What is required is proof of finds (PoF) in your account under your name. Please read CIC website for details.

Hello Mate

Sorry to bother you again, you have been really helpful in regards to my concern.

Hope you won't mind I've another question infect needs a suggestion rather.

Actually I lived in UK for 7 years and last year in March before moving back for good I transferred all my savings to my father's bank account through Western Union. Since I used their online service I use to receive an email confirmation for every transaction and I have kept all those receipts.
I didn't keep that cash in my account bcoz I was doing a little business mainly dealing on cash and banking is quite expensive in Pakistan.
I've started to maintain my bank statement now and transferred around 13k canadian dollars to my account.
Now as Proof of Funds can I show those receipts along with my father's last year bank statement stating that these were my savings?

I would appreciate your response,

Regards

That'll be 20 months of full time and about 6.7 months of full time equivalent. Overall, nearly 27 months of full time.

Too complicated. Recommended you either wait it out for 6 months or choose the 'gift' route.
