I got my MR and the RPRF yesterday.

It looks certain that the MI 1 category are in for clear out by June 2012.

My time line is as on the spreadsheet.

Hi I have just received medical request but I have a query. My children are now studying in the US (Florida and Texas). I know they'll have to get updated police certificates in their respected towns. However when I checked the list of doctors for these two states, I notice that none are recommended from their cities. Does that mean they'll have to travel to Miami and Dallas in order to do medicals, or can I request from CIC that they do them with a doctor in their cities? Thanks for your input.

Hi Kavya,

I think u did well in your interview.The way that person was firing questionbs at you and still u were able to answer most of the questions.It looks like that medicals will be on the way.

Congrats EMO. I have identified the nearest doctor, but they can't get an appointment before May 11th. Although I received the MR and RPRF on April 16th, the letter was dated March 30. So technically I have until May 29 to get everything to them. I may have to ask for an extension if not. Hope this does not delay the process too much. To all those waiting, don't give up hope. Our apps seem to be moving...at last!

Hello everyone I am new on here trying to get the flow of things hope y'all not going to be mad at me if I make a mistake.
shortly this is my situation. On May 11 2010, I sent my CSQ application package for the first time in Montreal Canada, along with my payment which two weeks later was processed. I then received a receipt by mail and email. Ever since, I never heard of them again. Couple of weeks ago I called them for an address change, they said fax it in which i did. I live in the U.S. and every time I look at the processing times for the U.S looks like they really are very slow. Last time I checked 11/2010 which means I have got couple of month before they get to me.
Is it normal that almost a year after I sent my app they never said nothing beside beside accepting payment?
What should my expectations be? What is the next step for me?

Not yet. My newborn son passed medical in March 2012, now I am waiting PPR.

NOC – 4131
Visa Office – New Delhi
Initial application to CIO Nova Scotia – June 23, 2010
First AOR received – October 15, 2010
Full Documents sent – Feb 1, 2011
Second AOR received from NDVO – Feb 15, 2011
E cas – IN PROCESS
Processing date – Reviewed application and started processing on March 30, 2012
